St. John's was great. Caribbean water beats Mediterrenean and Andaman Seas. Damn, I wish had more photos or could just stay there for a month. Definitely no longer afraid of the ocean...when I can see the coral and fish beneath me and the sun above me. Hobie Cat sailing rocks, especially when the waves are a little choppy. Hey, I like turbulence on airplanes, too. And so many cats! Black ones were the most common, along with tuxedos, one gray, one marmalade, and one golden-haired, green-eyed beauty that was very friendly but in reality, searching for food. The herd of wild donkeys amused 'Nii-chan tremendously...he kept talking about how cool it would be if donkeys had been developed as cavalry rather than herds. Only adjustments I need to make next time is to bring a huge tube of Cortaid and better snorkeling gear. Don't even get me started on the food...or the drinks. Sheesh, it was so freaking hard to downplay it at the internship; I didn't want to spark any resentment since no one else decided to take Spring Break.

Now all that's left to do is distribute the souvenirs, finish the bevy of articles on Japanese nationalism, get the paperwork signed so I can leave in peace, if not honor, and head over to NY for a day.

Bad news is that I received an e-mail saying my dorm in Tokyo abruptly sent over a form for Internet sign-up, which I naturally missed the deadline for, since I was enjoying natural elements, away from electronics. Anyway, this may cause problems and lead to difficulty in quick and easy communication, alas, when I'm abroad.

But yeah, I kind of remember now that there are still places to go, things to see...locations to survey for blueprints under the aegis of Alexander...
